It’s not that easy is it? Just because it’s meant to be a joyful and happy time, doesn’t mean it is for everyone. You can’t just switch those feelings off just because it’s Christmas. This time of year can actually heighten these feelings. The festive period can cause people to become more depressed, angry, upset, lonely, anxious etc.
Someone on your side
If you need to talk then Meic is someone on your side. Our helpline advisors provide information, advice and advocacy to children and young people aged up to 25 in Wales. Just because it’s Christmas our support doesn’t stop, our advisors are there for you even on Christmas day. The helpline will be open from 8am to midnight every day of the week.
