Meic has added to the ways you can reach out and contact us. You can now WhatsApp message as well as phone, text and online chat.

What happens when you contact Meic?
Sometimes talking about the things bothering you can be tough and you might worry about people finding out. But you’re not alone! Meic is here for you, offering confidential support on the phone, text, online chat, and now, WhatsApp! Another way to get the help you need, when you need it.
Whichever way you choose to contact Meic, one of our friendly advisers is always ready to listen. We can offer information and advice, look at your options with you, and help you reach out to others.

Why WhatsApp?
WhatsApp is an app that lots of people already have on their phones. You can reach out for support discreetly in a familiar way.
WhatsApp is:
- Safe and secure – Messages are encrypted by default. Only you and the Meic adviser can read your messages. Not even WhatsApp itself can see the content of your chats.
- Confidential – Your phone number, name and profile picture are hidden from our advisers, giving you an extra layer of privacy when reaching out. Our conversations are confidential, so you can talk about anything without worrying that someone else will find out*.
- Convenient – Chat with Meic from your phone wherever and whenever you need.
You can send a message through WhatsApp, but we can’t send or receive GIFs, photos, videos, voice notes, stickers, files, polls, or locations. You can’t make audio or video calls to us through WhatsApp either. If you’d rather talk to someone, call Meic on 080 880 23456.

To get in touch with a Meic adviser using WhatsApp, simply:

Choose our name
You don’t have to save us as ‘Meic’. You can call us anything if you want to be more discreet. Choose a name you’ll remember so you can find our number next time.
Start chatting
Open WhatsApp on your phone and choose the ‘Chats’ tab. Tap the ‘New Chat’ icon and select ‘Meic’ (or your chosen name) from your contacts list. A new chat window will open. Type your message and hit send!
