Voting

Voting is when you choose a person or a political party in an election. It’s your chance to have a say. You usually vote for the person or party you think will make good decisions for your local area or country. 

You have to register to vote. In Wales, you can register to vote at 14 and can actually vote in Senedd and local elections from 16. For general elections in the UK, you have to be 18.
