Powys Advocacy for Children and Young People

Description

All Children Looked After by Powys County Council All Care Leavers who are entitled to a Leaving Care Service under the Leaving Care Act 2002. (16-24) All children and young people who are considered at risk of significant harm where an Initial Child Protection conference has been convened and where their names remain on the Child Protection Register All children and young people who are receiving a service from Powys Children with Disabilities Services All children in need receiving a service from Powys County Council Children's Services when making or intending to make a complaint All children and young people who make a complaint, in respect of their service received from the Local Health Board All children who need support from the age of 11 years who have been excluded from school at Governors Disciplinary Committee meetings and Exclusion Appeals hearings Advocacy services to vulnerable groups of children/young people (asylum seekers/pregnant young women) will be provided through spot purchasing on a case by case basis by agreement with Powys County Council
